Program Link Widget
The Program Link Widget allows you to create interactive applications within the SmarterSign system. The simple metaphor allows you to create clickable "hot spots" in your PROGRAMS that can link to the presentation of other PROGRAMS in your account.
When you hover your mouse over the hotspot created by the Program Link widget on your design you will see a gear icon 
. This will open up the control panel for this widget.
Selecting linked content in Program Link Widget
To select the linked content in the Program Link widget follow the steps below:
- The controls for this widget are very simple. You will need to select a PROGRAM from you libary of existing content that you want to link to. Once you select the content you will see the thumbnail in the right of this window.
- When you are done click the APPLY AND CLOSE button
Other settings required for Interactive Content
Creating an interactive digital sign using the Program Link Widget requires a couple of other settings in the SmarterSign system. The first thing you will need to do is set an INTERACTIVE PROGRAM in the MANAGE CHANNELS controls of the SCHEDULE section of the application. The other setting will be an INTERACTIVE TIMEOUT. You will also need to make sure that the PROGRAM you are setting as your starting point has hot spots from this widget in the content.
