Content Management

The Content section of SmarterSign Manager is where you manage all your digital signage assets, including media files, templates, and programs that will be displayed on your screens.

The CONTENT section of SmarterSign Manager allows you to create and edit the presentations you will send to your displays. Home Screen diagram

  1. DESIGN TOOLS: The left hand section of the navigation contains a variety of options for creating and controlling you content. Each button in this navigation will open tools to help you organize and create.

    Programs IconPROGRAMS: opens up the library of your previously created content

    Templates IconTEMPLATES: provides a professionally created starting point for your design

    My Uploads IconMY UPLOADS: allows you to upload and access your images and videos

    Text IconTEXT: gives you a variety of options for adding text to your presentations

    Design Widgets IconDESIGN WIDGETS: offers a wide range of tools to add different content and functionality to your designs

    Media Library IconMEDIA LIBRARY: allows you to search through millions of images

    Shapes IconSHAPES: gives you the ability to enhance your designs with geometric objects

    Backgrounds IconBACKGROUNDS: allows you to select a color or image for the background of your design

  2. VIEWPORT TOOLS: These tools allow you to change the zoom level, add snap and rulers to your editing tools and UNDO and REDO any changes you make during the design process.

    When rulers are turned on you can add guides but dragging from the top or left ruler out onto your design canvas.

  3. FILE TOOLS: These are your simple file operations to SAVE, (SAVE AS, EXPORT) under the drop-down arrowSave Submenu Icon, PREVIEW and CLOSE out of your PROGRAM.

  4. PROPERTIES/ANIMATIONS: The right control panel allows you to edit the properties of all of the items in your PROGRAM as well add ANIMATIONS to bring your content to life.

  5. CONTEXT TOOLS: The tools at the bottom of your screen will change based on what you are editing:

    NOTHING: You will be able to change global settings including: Default Typeface, Adjust Text Size, Change the PROGRAM Background.

    TEXT: These tools will become your text editing tools for all adjustments to your text

    SLIDESHOW: Your Slide Tools will be presented to navigate and control your slides
