Shapes

Adding SHAPES to your design

Shape Widgets To add shapes to your design click on the SHAPES tab on the left hand side when actively editing a PROGRAM. This will show you the various shape options. Drag-and-drop a shape out onto your design to add it.

Once you have added your design you can move or resize it directly in your design. You can also style it using the PROPERTIES on the right hand side of the CONTENT screen.

SMARTMEDIA SHAPES

This type of shape provides additional functinality to the concept of using shapes in your design. Each of these widgets creates a drag-and-drop item that asks as a mask for your media. When using these you can drag any media over the shape and it will be masked to the outline of the shape. SmartMedia Shapes

Editing SMARTMEDIA SHAPES

Once you have added a SMARTMEDIA SHAPE to your design and dropped a media element onto it you can control how that media looks inside the mask. To edit this item you will double-click on the shape to edit the media inside. SmartMedia Edit In the example above, the SmartMedia Shape circle is being used. When you double click you will see the entire inner media and you will be able to edit it in the same manner you edit other items. When you are done click anywhere outside of the SmartMedia Shape to see the shape applied.

The SmartMedia Shape will constrain the inner media element. This will prevent the shape from being cut-off and not looking correct.
