Programs

PROGRAMS are one of the most important concepts in the SmarterSign system. These are the design creations that you build inside the system to present on your screens.

Creating a Program

To create a program in either landcape or portrait 16:9 aspect ratio, click on the CREATE FROM SCRATCH button on the CONTENT screen. From here you can select to create a LANDSCAPE program or a PORTRAIT program by clicking on the option you wish to create. This will open a blank canvas for you to start the editing process. See CONTENT MANAGEMENT to find out more about how you create PROGRAMS.

Creating a Program Custom

SmarterSign allows you to create PROGRAMS of any resolution or size. This can be useful if you are creating for a non-standard display or if you are creating content for a portion of your display. To create a program like this click on the SEE MORE OPTIONS button on the screen above

On this screen you can select your custom resolution for your PROGRAM and see a preview of the shape and details of your program on the left hand side. The following options for your resolution can be selected on the left:

• Standard resolutions such as 1080p (sometimes called Full HD), or 4K in both landscape or portrait
• A resolution on your network from the drop-down list
• A custom resolution where you will enter the width and height in pixels
