Backgrounds

Adding a BACKGROUND is a great way to start the design process. This background will act as the visual platform that you can build your design upon. It will always be the layer furthes back on your design and can easily be swapped to achieve a different look and feel for your design.

Adding a BACKGROUND to your design

There are two primary ways to add a BACKGROUND to your design. First you can use the BACKGROUND tab on the left hand side when you are in the editing process of a PROGRAM

Using a Color for a BACKGROUND

Color Backgrounds To change the background color simply click on one of the swatches in this list. To see more options you can click the "Show More >>" option in the upper right hand corner.

Using an Image for a BACKGROUND

Image Backgrounds To change the background to an image simply click on one of the thumbnails in this list. To see more options you can click the "Show More >>" option in the upper right hand corner.

Adding with Drag-and-drop

You can also add a background to a design by dragging and dropping any image to the grey area outside of your design canvas. Image Background Drag To use this technique, you will drag your image to the grey area surrounding your design. You will see the grey area turn orange. This indicates that you are ready to release the mouse button and apply your new background.

Once you have applied your background color or image you can always edit or remove it by using the tools at the bottom of your design. Note that the background tools are only visible if you are not editing something that uses this area as a context specific menu such as text or a slide show.
