Inventory Options
Inventory Options in SmarterSign allow you to connect availability in your POS to show clients what is currently sold out.
Accessing Inventory Options
- Hover your mouse over the item in the PROGRAM that you want to apply inventory options to
- Right click and select INVENTORY OPTIONS from the submenu
- This will open the control panel where you can set the styles for when this item is SOLD OUT
Setting Inventory Options
The SmarterSign system lets you set items to automatically be shown as sold out when your POS shows sold out. This is a powerful way to let your customers know if a specific item they want is not currently available, and allows them to select another item.
The following styles can be set to show how SOLD OUT appears
- MAKE SEMI-TRANSPARENT: This will set the item to transparent so that the IMAGE OVERLAY is easier to see
- IMAGE OVERLAY: This option will allow you to choose from a variety of SOLD OUT graphics and select the color and location (x and y) of where this image will appear.
- APPLY TO ALL ROWS: Selecting this checkbox will automatically apply these styles to the rest of the LIST WIDGET with your menu
Inventory Options are only available on LIST WIDGET items so that all of the elements associated with the product can be styled together. If you wish to apply this feature to just a single item you will need to create it as a LIST WIDGET with just a single item.
