Stock Quote Widget

Adding stock market quotes to your content is simple. This widget will include allow you to show last trade, amount up/down, percentage up/down, and the days range. Stock Widget

When you hover your mouse over the stock widget on your design you will see two icons in the upper right hand corner of the widget. The gear icon Gear Icon will open up the control panel for this widget. The pencil icon Pencil Icon will allow you to edit the elements inside of the widget. Even though the underlying data source will be live data, you still have the ability to completely customize this widget to fit your design.

Configuring the Stock Widget

To configure the stock widget follow the steps below:

  1. Clicking on the gear icon will open the control panel for the Stock Widget. Stock Tools
  2. The only thing you need to set on this widget is the ticker symbol. Here are some of the symbols for the major indexes:
    • Dow Jones Industrial Average: .DJI
    • S&P 500: ^INX
    • NASDAQ: ^IXIC
  3. When you are done click the APPLY AND CLOSE button

The changes in price and percentage will automatically be colored green (for up), and red (for down).

Editing the Stock Widget Layout

You can completely customize the layout of your stock widget by modifying the elements inside of the widget. To start this process click on the pencil icon Pencil Icon in the upper right of the widget.

You can now arrange all of the elements inside of the widget in the same way you control any of you designs. You can change typefaces, move or delete items, and more.
