My Digital Signs

Player Listing: This list is where you can see and organize all of the digital signage players in your network. You can organize or players into directories to keep them organized. This becomes particularly helpful with larger networks.

Player Tools:

The tools on the left will allow you to choose to display your network in a list view or a directory view.

The directory icon will allow you to add new directories.

The trash icon will allow you to delete folders that you have created. Players can not be deleted from this list. If you need to remove a Player from this list please contact SmarterSign.

Status: This indicator will let you know if your SmarterSign player is currently connected to the Internet and communicating with the SmarterSign system. A green status indicates the Player is running and communicating with the system. A yellow status indicates that the Player is currently not communicating with the system and should be investigated.

A yellow status doesn't necessarily mean the sign is not currently showing content. All of the information for playback is stored locally on the machine. The yellow status is usually indicates and Internet connectivity issue.

PLAYER SETTINGS: The SETTINGS button will open the Player Settings and allow you to configure each aspect of your SmarterSign Player including screen settings and more.

Channel and Schedule: Every screen on your network will be set to watch a CHANNEL of content. You will use the drop-down list to select the CHANNEL you want this SCREEN to watch. You also can get direct access to the SCHEDULE for this channel by clicking the schedule button . This will take you directly to the CHANNEL view that this player is watching.

Remember that multiple screens can watch the same channel. Any changes to the schedules on this channel will impact all of these screens.
