Square POS Integration
Learn how to integrate Square Point of Sale (POS) with SmarterSign to display dynamic menu boards and pricing information.
Overview
The Square POS integration enables automatic updates to your digital menu boards and pricing displays based on your Square inventory and pricing information.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the Square POS integration, ensure you have:
- An active Square merchant account
- A SmarterSign account
Setting Up Square Integration
- From inside of your SmarterSign account go to the ADMINISTRATION screen from your top navigation
- On the left hand side click the SQUARE link to open the Square administration screen
- Click on CONNECT A SQUARE ACCOUNT in the middle of the screen
- On the next screen click START NOW
- You will be taken to a screen that will ask you to log in to your Square account. From there you may need to use your multi factor authentication to get into the account.
- You will be asked to confirm the integration. Click the "Allow" button
- Success. You should now be connected to your Square account.
Configuring Menu Boards
