Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an additional layer of security for your SmarterSign account by requiring a second form of verification beyond your password.

Setting Up MFA

  1. Log in to your SmarterSign Manager account
  2. Go to the ADMINISTRATION screen using the top navigation
  3. At the bottom of the MY PROFILE section you will find a section called MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
  4. Click CONFIGURE button Configure Button to enable MFA
  5. Enter the mobile telephone number that you would like to use for authentication Multi-Factor Authentication Form
  6. You will be sent a Verification Code to the number you have entered. Enter this number and click the VERIFY button Verify Button
  7. You have now set up MFA for your account. Each subsequent log in will ask you to verify a code sent to your mobile number

Disabling MFA
